First Grade I Can Read Club
ENDS MAY 24TH
Kids — First Graders are invited to join the I CAN READ CLUB, beginning September 1st and continuing through the school year. Just read a page from a book to a staff member and you are in! We’ll take your picture and hang it on our club tree. After you sign your name in the big club book you’ll receive a bookmark and a free book to keep.
1,000 Books before Kindergarten
Sign up now!
Kids — Any child (including babies) who has not yet started kindergarten can join the program. Just stop by the Kids' Library Desk to register and get your reading log. Each time you read 100 books to your child bring your log back to have your picture taken for our reading wall. Then keep reading! One thousand books may seem like a lot, but if you read just one book a night together you'll meet your goal in less than 3 years. If you read 3 books a night you'll reach your goal in just one year!
