Visit with Santa
Friday, December 5 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Kids — The Chamber of Commerce invites you to “Visit with Santa” as part of the Plano Rockin’ Christmas Festivities. Parents, please be sure to bring your camera to take your child’s picture with Santa. We will pass out numbers to hold your place in line, but the wait may be long. Please be prepared to enjoy the library until it’s your turn to visit with Santa.

Adults — A light lunch of dainty appetizers, tasty sandwiches, delicious desserts, and cozy tea will be served (don’t eat before you come). Entertainment will be provided. This event is for adults and children 10 years old and older. Tickets are $10.00 each and will be on sale at the Checkout Desk beginning November 1. Proceeds benefit the library.
Legos, Legos, and More Legos

What can you create? We’ll provide the Legos® so please bring your imagination!

Adults — Come join other writers to discuss your work. Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the Library Board Room. No registration required. Open to adults and high school students.
New Life for Old Bags
Saturday, December 13 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Adults — Help make sleeping mats for the homeless. Volunteers will meet at the library on the 2nd Saturday of every month to make “plarn” (discarded plastic shopping bags cut into strips for crocheting). Volunteers are also needed to crochet mats. Movie Night at the Library
