Writers' Group
Thursday, October 22    6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Adults — Come join other writers to discuss your work. Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the Library Board Room. No registration required. Open to adults and high school students.


Readtaculars-Mad Hatter's Party

Kids — Wear a crazy hat for some Alice in Wonderland fun. For independent students in K-3rd grade only. Parents and younger siblings may wait in the Kids' Library during the program. Call 630-552-2025 to register.


Letters Home: A Southern Soldier Remembers
Monday, October 26    6:30 p.m.
Adults — Rich and Pat Healy, as Confederate soldier Larkin Moon and his wife, share through letters his experiences from 1862 to 1865. Time for questions will follow. Donations to benefit the library appreciated.

Funeral Planning Seminar

Adults — Find out what’s involved in arranging a funeral and the benefits to planning ahead for your end-of-life wishes. Presented by Turner-Eighner Funeral Homes. Refreshments served. No registration required.


Fines for Food
Monday, November 2 - Monday, November 30    All Day
AllFines — A portion of the fines collected in November will be donated to the Plano Rockin' Christmas program, which distributes food boxes to local families in need. The funds will be used to purchase essential perishable food items such as meat, produce, milk and butter.


Legos at the Library
Thursday, November 5    5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Kids — What can you create? We’ll provide the Legos® so please bring your imagination! All ages, children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
