Rhyme Time
Thursdays: October 27 & November 3, 10, 17    10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. OR 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Kids — For babies to age 3 accompanied by an adult. This lap sit storytime features action rhymes, finger plays, songs, movement activities, a simple story, and parent-child reading time. Active adult participation is an integral part of this program. Call 630-552-2025 to register.


Christmas Craft Program
Saturday, October 29    10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Adults and Teens — Make your own Christmas-themed project using rubber stamps, colored pencils, and ink in this FREE hands-on class led by Fun Stampers Journey Coach Rhonda Blythe of Plano. Open to adults and high school students. Registration required. Sign up by October 22nd. Call 630-552-2030 or stop by the library to register.


Fines for Food
November 2 - November 30   
AllFines — A portion of the fines collected in November will be donated to the Plano Rockin' Christmas program, which distributes food boxes to local families in need. The funds will be used to purchase essential perishable food items such as meat, produce, milk and butter.


Knit and Crochet Group
Thursday, November 3    10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Adults — This informal group works on their own projects, discusses types and colors of yarns, and helps each other with new or tricky patterns. They love to watch each other's projects develop. Participants bring their own supplies. They invite you to stop by and "yarn" awhile. No registration required.


Helping My Beginning Reader
Thursday, November 3    6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
Adults — When your child is reading to you, you want to help, but what's the best way? Miss Ilene, retired kindergarten teacher, will share and demonstrate ways to help your child read more skillfully. End the frustration for you and your child, and learn to enjoy reading together again. For parents whose children are kindergarten or first grade beginning readers. Call 630-552-2025 to register.


Christmas Tea Ticket Sales
Saturday, November 5    All Day
Adults — Tickets are $10.00 each and will be on sale at the Check-Out Desk beginning November 5. (Please note that we anticipate tickets to sell out on the first day of sales.)


Coloring for Adults and Teens
Monday, November 7    6:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m.
Adults — Treat yourself to some free time to color, enjoy some snacks, and socialize. Coloring pages designed especially for adults as well as colored pencils will be provided. Open to adults and high school students. No registration required.


Pizza & Pages
Tuesday, November 8    4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Kids — For grades 3-5. We'll all read the same book before the meeting, talk about it, and have some pizza! Call 630-552-2025 to register.

Adults and Teens — Come join other writers to discuss your work. Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the Library Board Room. No registration required. Open to adults and high school students.
